All Scion Show 3.0
Saturday, May 6th, 2006
This was it, the big show. With 65 registered entrants and another 10+ non-participants (including myself haha!) it was the largest club-sponsored show in the Midwest. The winners were numerous and deserving. We even had decent xA competition! Here's what Leia and I saw during the day...

Early in the morning I started final construction of the Best of Show trophy. What many didn't know is that this was the first time the whole trophy had been put together and stood up. Technically, I didn't know if it would hold together!

Joe, Greg, Brooks, and Fredy weighted it down while I went to get some ballast. Scotty did the supervising.

Joe is always cool.
Here's some great overview shots of all the cars after everybody was set up. Judging was happening at this time so there's lots and lots of tension in the air, can you feel it???

How about some individual shots??

Brooks assures me that he isn't calling out the guy in front of him here. No knife fights were observed at the show!

Precision Tint and Graphics/Wheeart.net, Color Pro, Fujiz.com, Elemental Designs and Accurate Auto Trim were all there to support the show and show off their own product lines. Lots of questions were answered and a few deals were struck. Thanks for the support guys!

Check out what Color-Pro did for my seats!

Greg was showing off the trophy he took home the night before. Wow, whoever designed and built that trophy was a freakin' GENIUS!!!

"What? Time for trophies?? Okay!"
We didn't get pics of everyone getting their trophy because Leia was sleeping at the lens, but here's a sample:

If we weren't all dying from sunstroke I'm sure we would've fixed that banner.

Brooks takes 3rd Place xB.

Darron continues his streak by taking home Best Presentation.

Jon grabs 2nd Place xB.

Clay beats out Jon to take 1st Place xB.

Greg and his Foose Dubs take Best Rims.

Herb captures best ICE with his xB.

...and Greg Rose's super clean xB takes home Grizzly's Choice!
Now on to best of show. Check out the trophy, never officially measured, but standing over 20' 8" tall and weighing enough to frighten me:

Greg Banks WINS!!! CONGRATS!!

"Now take this damn thing HOME!"

Congrats to Greg and Jillian...
...And all the winners!!!
