Saturday Show

We had an amazing day for the show.  I was a bit worried at 7:30 because it sprinkled for a few minutes, but then the sky cleared and we wound up with fantastic weather for the rest of the day.  With 57 registered Scions in the show and a few exhibiting we had a lot to look at in the lot of the Courts on Duff right next door to Wilson's.  DJ Paddy O'Toole spun as he always does for us and adding to his attraction were our three show assistants, Lindze, Erin, and Alyssa.

Many clubs turned out in force including several Scinergy chapters, Scikotics chapters, ScioNRG, and Scinister Scions.  You all did your respective clubs very proud with an excellent showing.

Lunch from Olde Main Brewery announced the start of judging and we finished in record time (read: on schedule).  We had a ton of stuff to give out in the raffle thanks to all of our sponsors including Wilson's, Accurate, Fujiz, Advance Auto, and Elemental Designs.  People walked with some very cool prizes.  Finally it came time for the trophies including the SPITE award, Spyke's Choice, Griz's Choice, Fujiz Choice, the SPL awards from Elemental, and the show awards.

Big congrats to Clay Smith from Scikotics Tulsa for taking home Best of Show with his amazing xB.  The BOS trophy was a custom job weighing in around 300lbs and topping 7 and a half feet tall.  Clay fit inside it very well.
